Minister of Finance to Visit New York and Washington
Finance Minister Bill Morneau will visit New York, N.Y., and Washington, D.C., to promote the Canada-U.S. economic partnership.

Minister Morneau will deliver remarks at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and take part in an armchair discussion as part of the event Canada and the U.S.: Partners in Prosperity.
The event is open and the Minister will be available to media following his remarks.

Minister Morneau will also meet with New York-based investors and financial sector representatives.

Minister Morneau will hold a bilateral meeting with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
A photo opportunity will take place prior to the meeting.
Media attending with television camera equipment must arrive at the South Entrance (15th Street and Alexander Hamilton Place) no later than 8 a.m. to allow time for equipment sweeps and set-up. No vehicles will be permitted onto Treasury grounds, and equipment must be carried in. All other media should arrive by 9 a.m. at the main entrance (Gallatin) (Pennsylvania Avenue/New York Avenue and 15th Street).
