Archived - Finance Ministers Meeting, Meech Lake, Chelsea, Quebec

Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty will meet with provincial and territorial finance ministers on Monday, December 17, 2012.

The meeting will take place at Willson House, 654 Meech Lake Road, Chelsea, Quebec.

Media wishing to participate in the photo-op should present themselves in front of Willson House 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Please note: Cameras and boom microphones only.

8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Ministers will discuss the state of global economy and medium-term priorities.

Media representatives planning to cover the Finance Ministers Meeting are encouraged to register by end of day, Friday, December 14. To register, please email David Barnabe at david.barnabe@fin.gc.ca

A media working room will be located in the ancillary building (Coach House) next to Willson House.

The media working room will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Workspace will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis upon registration.

Media availabilities

A microphone will be available for ministers at Willson House for their use at the close of the meeting.
