Archived - Minister of Finance to Speak at Conference in Ireland

The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will speak at a conference entitled Financial Crisis: International and National Perspectives along with Minister Michael Noonan, Ireland's Minister for Finance. The event will take place at Aula Maxima, National University of Ireland (NUI) in Galway, Ireland at 2:15 p.m. (local time).

A media availability will follow.

This special event coincides with Minister Flaherty's conferral with an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws by NUI Galway the following day.

Minister Flaherty will be available to Canadian journalists via conference call following the conferral of his honorary degree.
