Archived - Minister of Finance to Participate in Ceremony to Strike Last Penny

The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will participate in a ceremony to commemorate the end of production of the penny for Canadian circulation on Friday, May 4, 2012.

The ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Mint facilities located at 520 Lagimodière Boulevard, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
