Archived - Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance to Participate in Ceremony to Issue New Bank Note

Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance Shelly Glover will join the Governor of the Bank of Canada Mark Carney in an official ceremony to issue a new $50 polymer bank note on Monday, March 26, 2012. This note will be the first of the polymer bank note series that will be available in automated banking machines.

The ceremony will take place at the Canadian Coast Guard’s facility located at 101 Champlain Boulevard, in Québec City, at 1:00 p.m.
