Minister of Finance to Attend the G7 Finance Ministers and International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) Meetings, April 24-25, 2009 in Washington

Friday, April 24

1:30 p.m.
The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will take part in the G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting at the Department of the Treasury.

5:15 p.m.
Minister Flaherty and Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney will hold a press conference in room R-620 of the IMF Building, 700 19^th Street NW, Washington, DC.

5:30 p.m.
Minister Flaherty will take part in a G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting at the Department of the Treasury.

Saturday, April 25

8:00 a.m.
Minister Flaherty will take part in the IMFC meeting at the IMF Building.

12:30 p.m.
Minister Flaherty will be available to Canadian journalists via conference call.
