Minister of State for Financial Institutions, the Honourable Denis Paradis, to Engage in Pre-Budget Consultations

Minister of State Denis Paradis will participate in a series of pre-budget consultations from January 22 - February 12, 2004.

During these meetings, the Minister will meet with a wide range of representatives from social, business and academic communities to discuss their priorities for this year's budget.

Thursday, January 22 - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Minister Paradis will take part in a roundtable discussion at the Municipalité régionale de comté, 380 4^th Avenue.

Although the meeting is closed to the media, the Minister will be available to take questions from journalists at 4:30 p.m.

Friday, January 23 - Moncton

9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Minister Paradis will take part in a roundtable discussion at the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce, 910 Main Street.

Although the meeting is closed to the media, the Minister will be available to take questions from journalists at 11:15 a.m.
