If you are able to view this page, you will be able to view all Budget 2003 HTML format documents and information with your browser working just the way it is now.
You can use your browser to see previous years’ budget material in HTML from the Budget Info page.
You will also be able to see the live webcast of the Minister of Finance’s Budget address to Parliament at about 4 p.m. on Budget Day even if you don’t have a media player. To be able to view and hear this webcast normally requires that you add a plug-in media player to your browser.
But now, if you cannot get or do not want a media player, you can give this broadcast a try. This is an important feature for persons in work environments that do not allow installation of plug-ins, or that have restrictive firewalls.
The video quality will not be as good as if you had a player, but the sound should be as clear as your computer’s sound system permits.
Note: Without plug-ins you will not be able to see or hear any of the other Budget 2003 multimedia products, including the tax savings calculator. However, every bit of the Budget’s content is made available in HTML.
